Austin, TX Accounting Analyst Role for Real Estate Investment Trust

Highlights: 

• Fast growing REIT (Real Estate Investment Trust) looking to add a 2-4 year accountant to their team

What You’ll Do:

• Own the month-end close and financial reporting for investment funds and the asset management/RIA entity
• Review and approve reconciliations and reporting prepared by the accounting team and interns
• Prepare and submit required regulatory filings in partnership with Legal & Compliance
• Work with the fund administrator and review accounting related to fund activity

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA or actively pursuing
• 2+ years of experience in public accounting, private equity, hedge funds, asset management, or similar
• Strong Excel skills and working knowledge of PowerPoint and Word
