Regional Controller

Regional Controller (Remote)

A rapidly growing, private equity-backed infrastructure services company is seeking a Regional Controller to serve as the primary finance partner for operational leadership across a multi-site region.

Key Responsibilities:
• Partner with regional operations leaders on budgets, forecasts, P&L performance, and financial decision-making
• Oversee project accounting, including percentage-of-completion revenue recognition and monthly financial reporting
• Review revenue, expenses, backlog, inventory, and key operating metrics to ensure accurate reporting and performance visibility
• Lead month-end close activities, balance sheet reconciliations, and GAAP compliance efforts
• Support annual budgeting, forecasting, cash flow analysis, and financial planning initiatives
• Assist with audits, internal controls, and corporate reporting requirements
• Drive financial integration efforts related to acquisitions and business growth initiatives
• Analyze operational and financial trends, identify variances, and provide actionable recommendations to leadership
• Manage and mentor accounting staff as assigned

Ideal Background:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 8+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience
• Strong project accounting experience, including percentage-of-completion accounting
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial statement preparation, and operational finance support
• Knowledge of GAAP, accrual accounting, and internal controls
• Acquisition integration and consolidation experience is a plus
• Advanced Excel skills with experience in ERP/accounting systems
• Strong communication skills and ability to partner with both finance and operations leaders
