Opportunity
This is a high-impact Senior Accountant role designed to alleviate the day-to-day accounting burden from the CFO and Controller. The ideal candidate will be a dependable, hands-on professional who thrives in a dynamic, project-based environment and is eager to grow into a leadership position.

You will be responsible for suporting all aspects of the month-end close, journal entries, revenue analysis, and project-based accounting (including percentage-of-completion). This role is ideal for someone who has experience in accounting for multiple, concurrent projects—particularly fixed-price or time-and-materials contracts—and ideally has some familiarity with government compliance or federal rate structures.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily general ledger functions, including journal entries and month-end close

• Manage revenue recognition and cost tracking across complex, active projects

• Conduct project-level financial analysis and resolve discrepancies

• Ensure compliance with government billing standards and rate structures

• Partner with project managers, sales, and operations to maintain financial accuracy

• Help streamline monthly close processes and improve efficiency

• Support strategic initiatives such as new accounting standards, insurance renewals, and board reporting

Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree (Accredited) 
5+ yrs of progessive experience
Project based accounting-POC / Fixed Price
