Tax & Compliance Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented, self starter to support our organization’s tax compliance and planning. This role is responsible for ensuring timely and accurate tax filings, maintaining proper documentation, and supporting tax strategy initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Broad role w/ income and sales tax focus.
• Will serve as the primary point of contact for external tax advisors, handling inquiries and requests.

• Prepare and file sales & use tax returns in a timely and accurate manner.

• Collect, organize, and manage financial data necessary for tax reporting and compliance.

• Maintain organized, up-to-date tax records and documentation.

• Partner with the Controller on special projects and other tax-related initiatives.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited institution

• 5+ years of relevant experience

• Avalara tax software is a plus

• CPA preferred
