Opportunity

Join a stable, growing organization in a highly visible leadership role reporting directly to the Controller. The Senior Manager, Accounting will lead the financial close and reporting process, oversee internal controls and compliance, support strategic initiatives, and develop a high-performing accounting team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes and ensure accurate financial reporting
• Oversee financial statement preparation, management reporting, and SOX compliance
• Partner with auditors, global stakeholders, and cross-functional business leaders
• Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and operational efficiencies
• Provide technical accounting guidance and support strategic business initiatives
• Mentor and develop accounting staff while fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA required
• Progressive accounting experience, including leadership responsibilities
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, financial reporting, and internal controls
• Experience within E&P and/or Big Four public accounting preferred
• Proven ability to lead teams, improve processes, and partner effectively across the organization
• Strong analytical, communication (written and verbal), and leadership skills
