E&P A&D Finance Manager

Highlights:

Privately funded E&P company focused on the acquisition of upstream assets. Seeking a highly motivated Finance Manager to assist with all aspects of Finance, Capital Planning, M&A, Strategic Alternatives and Investor Relations. The position will report directly to the CEO and be exposed heavily to operations.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain all cash forecast, capital management and exit analysis models. This role will allow the candidate to interact with all senior management
• Analyze performance of operations compared to company approved budgets
• Evaluate potential transactions alongside strategic planning team
• Manage commodity and interest rate hedge strategy, track positions and opine on execution
• Assist operations in lease operating expense management, well performance review, and a variety of other data driven operations tasks
• Research and analyze industry trends, activity and peer companies
• Author materials for board of directors and other investor meetings, effectively communicating ideas and financial information
• Work with Marketing department to evaluate, negotiate and execute gathering agreements, term sales, firm transport, etc.
• Grow into a business development role. Think through implications of different A&D opportunities and provide feedback to management
• Other duties as assigned by CEO

Qualifications

• Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
• Self-motivated with strong work ethic
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Acute attention to detail, ability to think through large amounts of data
• Positive attitude, team player and open mind
• Exposure to Spotfire, Power BI or other visualization analytics tools is a plus
