Opportunity to gain exposure in a growing and dynamic E&P company. We are seeking a highly motivated and self?directed individual to perform the duties of Senior Accountant within the Accounting Department.

Opportunity to gain exposure in a growing and dynamic E&P company. We are seeking a highly motivated and self?directed individual to perform the duties of Senior Accountant within the Accounting Department.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review of monthly recurring journal entries
- Prepare monthly revenue and cost accruals
- Prepare monthly hedge mark-to-market valuation and entries
- Assist with quarterly depletion, impairment, and ARO entries as necessary
- Pull details and reports from the accounting system
- Prepare monthly account reconciliations
- Limited treasury functions as needed, including preparation of monthly cash report and wire setup
- Assist with monthly/quarterly internal reporting schedules
- Assist with the preparation of monthly/quarterly/year?end financial statements to ensure timely completion of third party deliverables
- Assist with annual financial statement audit
- Participate in special projects, as necessary
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting (CPA preferred)
- 2+ (Staff) 4+ years of experience preferred (Senior)
- Oil and gas experience in an accounting, technical, or analytical role and/or public accounting experience highly preferred
- Excellent writing, analytical and presentation skills
- Expert MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel user
- Quorum Upstream accounting, Spotfire, and Assent143 a plus
